01High risk of loss
There is considerable exposure to risk in any over-the-counter transaction, including leverage, creditworthiness, limited regulatory protection, and market volatility. Trading foreign exchange, contracts for difference, and other derivative or OTC instruments can result in the loss of some or all of the value at stake. You should only ever trade with capital you can afford to lose without affecting your financial security or lifestyle.
Markets can move sharply and without warning. Prices are affected by factors outside any single trader's control, including economic data, interest-rate decisions, geopolitical events, and changes in liquidity. Past performance of any market, strategy, or trader is not a reliable indicator of future results.
02Leverage amplifies losses
Leverage lets you control a position larger than the capital committed to it. The same leverage that can increase a gain will increase a loss by the same factor. A small move against a leveraged position can produce a loss that is large relative to the capital at stake, and losses can accrue quickly. The higher the leverage, the greater this effect. You are responsible for understanding how leverage, margin, and position sizing work before you trade.
03The evaluation fee buys a service, not an investment
A Ment Funding evaluation is a skills assessment. The fee you pay is the purchase of access to that assessment and its simulated trading environment. It is not a deposit, not an investment, and not a stake in any fund, security, or managed account. The fee does not buy ownership of capital, a share of profits as an investor, or any financial instrument.
The evaluation fee is non-refundable. Access to the assessment is a service that is delivered immediately on purchase, so the fee is earned at the point of sale. Do not buy an evaluation expecting a refund. Where any refund or credit may apply, the only governing terms are those set out in the Refund Policy.
04Simulated and past results do not guarantee future results
The evaluation and any subsequent funded phase are conducted in a simulated trading environment. Simulated or hypothetical performance has inherent limitations. Unlike a live account, simulated results do not involve actual market execution and may not reflect the impact of real liquidity, slippage, or the financial and emotional pressure of trading real money.
Payout figures, account growth, scaling milestones, and any other results shown on this site or in our marketing are historical examples. They describe outcomes that some participants achieved. They are not a promise, projection, or guarantee that you or anyone else will achieve the same. Most participants do not pass an evaluation, and passing an evaluation does not guarantee any future payout.
05Testimonials are individual experience and are not typical
Reviews, testimonials, payout screenshots, and trader stories reflect the individual experience of the person who provided them. They are not representative of typical results and are not a guarantee that you will have a similar experience. Individual outcomes depend on skill, discipline, risk management, market conditions, and other factors that vary from person to person. 06Limited regulatory protection
Ment Funding sells a proprietary trading evaluation service. It is not a broker, a bank, an investment adviser, or a fund, and it does not hold client money for investment. As a result, the consumer and investor protections that apply to regulated financial services may not apply to the evaluation service, and any compensation schemes available to clients of regulated firms may not cover you. You are responsible for determining whether the service is lawful and appropriate for you in your own jurisdiction before purchasing.
07Company and affiliate disclosure
Ment Funding is an affiliate of Prop Account, LLC. All funding assessments are provided by Prop Account, LLC and all assessment fees are paid to Prop Account, LLC.
The trading name "Ment Funding" identifies the brand under which the assessment is marketed. The legal entity providing the assessment and receiving the fees is Prop Account, LLC. Disputes are governed by the binding arbitration and jurisdiction terms in the Terms and Conditions, with arbitration seated in Quebec.
